Between October 29 and November 1, Chaves celebrated another edition of the Feira dos Santos, the largest street fair in the country, and the Intermunicipal Community of Alto Tâmega e Barroso (CIMAT) was present at the event.
On Saturday, the opening day of the Fair, the “Bio Corner”, existing in the Chaves Municipal Market, counted with the presence of some organic producers of the territory, who showed the best that is produced in the Alto Tâmega e Barroso region regarding organic products. Remember that this promotion space, inaugurated last August 24th, was born in the scope of the Bio Região do Alto Tâmega e Barroso and has several products of the territory certified with the organic production mode.
In Largo General Silveira, right in the heart of the city “flaviense”, CIMAT had, during the four days of the Fair, a stand-in which was available roadmaps and maps of Alto Tâmega and Barroso territory. Being the Saints Fair an event that annually attracts thousands of people from various parts of the country, from neighboring Spain, and even emigrants who take the time to spend vacations in their homeland, this was another opportunity to show the Alto Tâmega and Barroso region to the many curious people that during the four days passed by the site.
